To Celebrate Cascadia Day, we are inviting anyone that feels so moved to share a picture, poem, song, story or short video in this thread that helps to share something of the essence of this amazing place we call home.
We are officially debuting Regenerate Cascadia in collaboration with Design School for Regenerating Earth and Regenerative Communities Network.
The Department of Bioregion is proud to include Aaron Carasco in the Diplomat Corps as an Attaché of Education. Aaron is a life-long Cascadian, born in Oregon and currently living in Seattle. He is a Mentor Teacher in the field of Early Childhood Education. Read more to see how Cascadian education is on the raise.
Our first Cascadia diplomat training hosted eight wonderful Cascadians for a full day of learning about Cascadia, bioregionalism and brainstorming projects that diplomats would like to undertake. Diplomats are long term movement volunteers who undertake Cascadia projects that grow the Cascadia movement, get us closer to the idea being a reality, educate and grow awareness of bioregionalism, or grow connections for a more vibrant and healthy bioregion. Each diplomat was asked to think about a project beforehand that they would like to undertake as part of this program.
