Cascadia Poetics LAB offers a Cascadia 2050 workshop on Saturday, December 12, 2026, from 3 to 5 p.m. Pacific time. It is the third workshop in the series and is free, with a suggested donation of $25. Details and registration are on the organizer’s page. The page does not say whether the workshop meets online or in person, so check there before you plan.

The workshop is for anyone who wants to write a poem and is not sure where to begin. Cascadia 2050 is an initiative of Cascadia Poetics LAB.

Registration is also open for the 2027 Poetry Postcard Fest, now in its 21st year, in which participants write 31 poems on postcards. A $15 contribution supports the Lab, and scholarships are available. Learn more on the Poetry Postcard Fest page.
