Subduction, a Cascadia spoken word series, is expected to meet on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 7 p.m. at Vermillion, 1508 11th Avenue, Seattle. The date follows the series’ announced schedule of the first Wednesday of each month through May, with summers off. The organizers had not yet posted details for this evening when this listing was written.

The series is presented by Cascadia Democratic Action and Cascadia Poetics LAB. Earlier evenings featured four invited poets each, and the October reading was followed by an open mic. Admission is free, and the organizers encourage donations to a featured mutual aid organization each month.
