Cascadia+Day+May+18.jpg

Thank you for RSVP’ing!

Dates and times are not confirmed yet, but you’ll receive an email as soon as they are, with more specifics for the groups you chose.

Our guiding question is “If 10,000 people joined the Cascadia movement in November, what infrastructure, resources, groups do we need for a vibrant, decentralized and positive movement?”

Each group is welcome to set their own schedule, but we’re thinking a call every other week. Please feel free to take this time to think about a project you would like to lead, or come to prepared to jump in and help with an idea someone else may have. Groups are welcome to split into smaller project groups as they see fit, and will hook in with the Dept of Bioregion website, Cascadia Underground, CoCreator Network and their google drive as folks would like.

If you support this work, please consider joining us as a monthly member. A little bit goes a very long way.

 The Basics:

Organizing calls will happen each other week and be divided into a series of grassroots organizing groups each working to make Cascadia happen in a distinct and unique way.

  • Meetings open with a land recognition.

  • For calls, we will use we will be using a Zoom or some other video conference software. Each call will include a short introduction on the platform & how to use.

  • Each group determines what it will be working on, and it’s organizing structure.

  • Work will be done through shared notes on Google Drive.

  • People will be welcome to share through the Dept of Bioregion, Cascadia Underground and elsewhere.

  • Notes & Recaps will be made available to everyone signed up.

  • We want these are places for action, rather than discussion. Come armed with ideas for what you would like to see and let’s support each other to make it happen.

Rules for us to play by:

  • Be polite & respectful. Check how much space you're taking up, especially if other people haven’t spoken yet. People being disruptive will be removed.

  • A Cascadia Safe Space. People who believe in Cascadia as a cultural, a political, an economic, an independence movement, a bioregion, a vision, an ecological movement, or any mix of the above therewithin… are welcome. We are not here to critique each other. If you believe in Cascadia - cool. You’re in. Let’s save the arguing about specifics for later. Instead lead by example.

  • A Hate Free Zone. Any discriminatory, inflammatory remarks or behavior will result in an immediate removal.
