Cascadia Regional Diplomat Orientation

This diplomat training will be capped at 15 people. To make sure we don’t turn away people for those not actually interested, we will send a confirmation email one week ahead of time, and you will need to confirm you are still interested to receive the hangout link.

Cascadia Diplomats are long term volunteers and are dedicated to making Cascadia a reality and representing the idea effectively. Each diplomat is invited to join our regular work parties, can make blog posts and reports and will be asked to envision a round table discussion they can host to better identify a project, start an embassy or better connect Cascadia to an idea they love.

This orientation is a shortened version of our weekend training. It will cover the basics of the Department of Bioregion, our theory of change, and what it means to be a Diplomat. After the orientation, each diplomat will be invited to join our Thursday parties (remotely or in person), and we reach one on one for additional on boarding.
