What is a Cascadia Diplomat?

Diplomats are long term volunteers who have gone through an orientation and represent Cascadia and the Cascadia movement to the world abroad. They undertake projects, carry on the day to day activities, and make the Cascadia movement happen.

What happens after a Diplomat Training?

After diplomat training, you will be invited to join our weekly work parties every Thursday 6:30-8:30pm, or to work on your own schedule as best suits each individual.

After a training we:

  • develop a round table discussion held in the next few months to identify one project the Cascadia movement should undertake.

  • work with each of you to get you comfortable with our online system - including our google drive, website, social media. We do this through create a diplomat bio, page, blog post, event on our website, or social media.

To give a better sense of who we are, what a diplomat is and what to expect, I've attached a PDF of our diplomat training binder and organizers handbook. Please give it a peruse, and make sure being a diplomat is something you're interested in.
