DANCE - MARCH - CELEBRATE

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots; the spark that ignited a global upraising for LGBTQI+ rights that continues today. This special year, the Cascadia’s Seattle PRIDE Parade contingent will commemorate the activists and leaders of that storied event: Marsha P. Johnson & Sylvia Rivera. With their faces painted on a mural flown above the bus, we will march in memory and celebration of their legacy and struggle.

We’ll be meeting up on 4th AVE in downtown Seattle ahead of the parade. Look for the Cascadia bus to join us. We will update this event with our location in the marshaling area as it becomes available.

Whether you want to march, dance, walk with a flag, hand out stickers, or wave from the bus, there’s room for you with our contingent!

Come dressed in your PRIDE and colorful Cascadian regalia to join us for this celebratory event.
