Bay Area Bioregional Regeneration unConference

Bioregional Regeneration Bay Delta Unconference

The event is open to anyone engaged in community gardens, mutual aid, local policy, ecological restoration, or place-based organizing in the Bay Delta bioregion and beyond.

In person, Oakland, CA

The Bay Delta organizers are preparing a delegation to the Turtle Island Bioregional Congress in September 2026, in Vernonia, Oregon, and this event will provide keen insights into the upcoming Global Bioregional Month, in September. The event is open to anyone engaged in community gardens, mutual aid, local policy, ecological restoration, or place-based organizing in the Bay Delta bioregion and beyond.

The fourth Bay Delta Bioregional Regeneration Unconference returns to Oakland

On May 9th, join the conference producers: Kaliya Young (Unconference.net), ajay tallam (East Bay Permaculture Guild), Dave Witzel (Global Regeneration Co-Lab), Lawrence Grodeska (Bay Delta Trust).

This participant-driven gathering uses Open Space Technology, meaning there is no pre-set agenda. Attendees bring the topics that matter most to them, from local food systems and land stewardship to governance models, solidarity economy, and bioregional technology.

Previous unconferences have produced 100-year bioregional visions, mutual aid networks, and lasting cross-sector collaborations.
