We are excited to welcome Santiago Quiroga on board as our new editor for the Cascadia Underground. For those not familiar, the Cascadia Underground is a media center that we operate in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, as well as a region wide collective and website where Cascadians can share articles, podcasts, media and video about the Cascadia movement, bioregionalism, or important issues facing our bioregion or that they may be involved with.
Santi is currently a student at Seattle Pacific University working towards a degree in Communications and Journalism, as well as editor for their student run newspaper. As a newer member of Cascadia, Santi hopes to revitalize the spirit of Cascadia within the people of the Pacific Northwest and change the mainstream perception of the movement into something that encompasses all.
Santi helps facilitate writers and content creators to publish content that aligns with Cascadian beliefs and values, and he hopes to bring Cascadia into the spotlight through the media he works on.
