Diplomat Bio:

From her first visit to Cascadia, Sue had a strong feeling it was where she would end up. Growing up in Chicago, she attended college in Indiana before a stop in Florida enroute to California where she lived in San Francisco. While there she connected to a global anarchist community, and was introduced to Left Bank Books, and an opportunity to relocate to Seattle arose.

Since moving to Seattle, Sue pursued degrees in linguistics, anthropology and did graduate work in ethnomusicology at the University of Washington. An appreciation for the importance of place in language and music grew out of As an administrator for the Seattle Arts Commission, and the Department of Urban Design and Planning.

Emergency Management Round tables. Sue has always been interested in river restoration projects and is overjoyed to have the opportunity to pursue that passion here.

The relationship of anarchy to place based

Studying music ethnomusicology taught Sue that music and culture stem from place.

Since moving to Vashon, Sue has been active in the Land Trust and is commited to extending those principles to the Property at the North River Reserve.
