From the Archive: Bioregional Congress of Pacific Cascadia 1988

On April 7-10, 1988, approximately 140 people gathered at the Breitenbush Retreat Center in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon. The people came primarily from western Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia — the place coming to be known as Pacific Cascadia — and worked as peers for three days to articulate a broad collection of visions, values, and plans on a variety of ecological and social issues pertaining to the bioregion.

Our wonderful underground collaborators from the Cascadia Underground have archived and shared the Bioregional Congress of Pacific Cascadia 1988 for the first time. It’s a rough scan, but can also provides the full text for anyone interested in learning more.
