Directory of Local Representatives - Connecting businesses that align with our principles into our Cascadia Passport Directory. They also see about wholesale and feature businesses.
Yes Cascadia - Digital and Physical assets for businesses to be able to support local.
Direct Candidate Oureach - In person meetings, phone and letter writing campaigns.
Local Initiatives - A certifying body able to grade, rate and suggest issues based on bioregional principles.
Direct Democracy Candidates - Eventually host Cascadia candidates that are direct delegates for their constituents and principles - rather than representatives.
Educational Resources & Tools: Print materials and presentations that include making us more effective organizers, Cascadians and Bioregionalists.
Mission: The Cascadian Department of Legislative Outreach works to build support of Cascadia with locally elected officials, increases Cascadian visibility and pressure and grows support for bioregional policies and principles.
Guiding Question: What existing elected and government officials support Cascadia, how do we grow our elected politic that represents bioregional and directly democratic principles, and what policies and initiatives do we need for our bioregional to be truly independent, automous, sustainble & just?
The Cascadian Department of Legislative Outreach is a group of diplomats and community leaders who work to build support for Cascadia & Bioregionalism among elected and government representatives around Cascadia. These diplomats work from around the bioregion and at local embassy meetings and they manage several projects. Each department is a working group (or collection of groups) that coordinate activities, create budgets, and maximize impact. Members of a Department meet regularly to discuss priorities, resources and materials that are needed, and to ensure that diplomats have the tools and resources they need to be successful.
In addition, each Department and project has a senior leadership team who works to make sure that everyone within the work group has the tools and resources they need to be effective at their goal.

Be a hub for projects and diplomats working around a specific cause or issue and work together with other embassies and departments as part of larger campaigns. Be a regional hub for supporting Diplomats, Projects and members for that issue.
Have Op-Ed writing, post-card writing, and phone call parties.
Create a directory of local representatives, and those who support Cascadia.
Connect with elected officials in their area to see if they support Cascadian autonomy and independence and grow strong community connections.
Run the https://yescascadia.org website.
Connect, suggest and support initiatives that grow bioregionalism and Cascadia, based on our core principles.
Have regular meetings, that are in person and accessible remotely.
Provide regular blog posts and create an archive of activities, projects.
Connect department events, reportbacks, updates and activities with our website and social media.
