We're hiring! Cascadia Organizer & NonProfit Program Officer

The Department of Bioregion and Regenerate Cascadia are growing, and we’re looking for grounded, collaborative individuals to join our team. Together, we support bioregional organizing across the Cascadia bioregion — helping people reconnect with place, build community-led resilience, and co-create regenerative futures. Whether through deep storytelling, identity work, organizing local projects, or stewarding collaborative programs, we’re helping grow a movement rooted in watersheds and ecosystems, not political boundaries.

We’re currently hiring for two roles to support our work through the Cascadia Department of Bioregion and the broader bioregional network:

  • Cascadia Organizer – Support the growing Cascadia Movement as a volunteer organizer through the Cascadia Department of Bioregion. This role focuses on regional identity building, community engagement, and strengthening participation through membership, communications, and events. We’re looking for someone passionate about place-based organizing who’s excited to help connect and grow this bioregional community.

  • Nonprofit Program Officer – Join the Department of Bioregion as a key staff member supporting programs, landscape teams, and regenerative projects across the region. This front-facing role works closely with our Operations Manager, Ben Moseley, to support onboarding, coordination, reporting, and general program support. This position will help us scale and sustain our work, with a focus on accessibility, clarity, and care in how we serve communities.

If you’re passionate about bioregionalism, community building, and helping shape a more regenerative Cascadia, we’d love to hear from you.
